Business Director – senior leadership role in a creative, risk-taking, PR & experiential agency
My client is a highly creative, mid-sized PR and experiential agency, and part of a wider global branding and comms group.
It has news and storytelling at its heart like many, but allied to a culture of risk taking it beyond where most traditional consumer agencies sit. It’s ethos is to make things bigger, better, and more culturally current to what people want to buy, watch and talk about. It’s all about a team of bright, creative minds giving people an experience they’re not going to forget.
On the back of growth it is looking to make a hire at Business Director level, sitting on the senior leadership team. This is a particularly lean agency at the senior levels, meaning you will work directly into the CEO and be right in there where the business decisions are being made.
You will lead and oversee the delivery of multi channel strategic campaigns for your respective client accounts, ensuring all work delivered is of outstanding quality, robust and fulfils all business and communication requirements. You will also have overall commercial responsibility for revenue and growth of your respective accounts and will be responsible for the management and growth of Associate Directors, Senior Account Directors, Account Directors and their respective account teams.
Naturally at this level there will be new business responsibility, however this is not a role that will turn into business development. This is more about running the business and teams already in place, and as such retains that element of being hands on with the creative output of the agency.
