Director, or top end Associate Director – multi / omni channel, brand strategy and campaigning

My client has been the fastest growing comms consultancy in each of last five years, accumulating an impressive haul of award wins, not to mention wider industry recognition, along the way. It has successfully married the qualities and creative campaigning skills of the industry’s leading larger agencies with a highly respected corporate reputation, financial PR and public affairs business.

Perhaps the key to this success is its relentless pursuit of development and innovation – it is constantly shaping itself for the future. And the latest proof can be found in its recently-launched brand strategy and campaigning offer. It’s the agency’s CMO offering, if you like, for brand and marketing clients. Focused on purpose led campaigning that drives reputation, and at the same time drives sales growth as well. Engaging customers on values and their belief system rather than just around their product need.

This team is looking for either a Director, or top end Associate Director, with a strong grasp of brand strategy, and the role brands play in shaping culture. Someone able to devise and activate campaigns for brands with high levels of awareness and cultural relevance (think the likes of music, film and sports tie ups).

The ideal candidate will come from a strategic brand comms background, bringing experience in multi-channel and/or (even better) omni-channel content-led campaigning. This whole idea of using all available media channels but being centered around the customer, rather than the product or service.

The focus of the role would be to advise clients at a senior level, help devise campaigns, and support business development efforts for the offering itself. Ideally the team would also like someone who could have some stretch into providing corporate reputation advice for consumer facing brands.

As a guide to the level we are looking at perhaps £80-100k basic.
