Regional Communications Manager (Europe) – innovative, industry-leading shipping & logistics company
My client is a global leader in shipping and logistics, sitting at the forefront of innovation in the sector. It is looking to hire a Regional Communications Manager to coordinate the communication strategy and actions across Europe.
This is a role offering a huge amount of breadth, with responsibility for corporate comms, media engagement, social media and digital content, advertising, customer communication & internal communication.
It requires a strong corporate reputation practitioner who has the maturity to navigate quite a complex global company. Someone who can be both strategic in helping set the narrative, but also hands on where required.
Whilst previous shipping or logistics sector experience would be welcomed it’s not essential. Really this is about finding a talented comms operator who can bring more visibility, both internally and externally, to a company that is doing fascinating, industry-leading work. That includes being committed to the energy transition in shipping, becoming a pioneer in the use of alternative fuels, helping thousands of children through its actions to promote education for all and equal opportunity, and acting in humanitarian crises that require an emergency response.
In time this company could also suit someone open to global mobility and international careers across the group.
