Speechwriters, copywriters & editors – writing and editing focused roles for a global energy giant
As part of an ever-expanding remit with one of the largest companies in the world, based in the Middle East, I am keen to speak to people whose experience focuses on the art of writing and editing.
As this company enters a major phase of growth and transformation it is looking to make a series of hires in this discipline. It is open to candidates from marketing communications, content, journalism and beyond.
The focus here is on assembling teams of the highest quality. Areas of focus for the business include energy & infrastructure, ESG, sustainability, technology & innovation, and being recognised as an employer of choice.
There is flexibility on the level of candidates, so if you are potentially interested I’d encourage you to have a conversation with me. However, I appreciate being vague never helps, so I’d say c.10 years as a guide. The roles include:
– Speechwriter. Writing speeches, talking points, and video scripts for the Chairman and CEO, and other senior executives
– English copywriter. Researching, conceptualising, and creating original copy, working closely with comms, advertising and marketing teams
– Writer / editor. Writing, editing and preparing creative content to inform and entertain stakeholders across a wide range of channels including online, social media and print
I am therefore keen to speak to people who bring experience working with world-leading brands and organisations. Previous experience in the energy sector will definitely be useful for these roles, but it’s not a deal breaker.
The roles are based full time in the Middle East. They come with attractive salary and benefits packages, including housing and comprehensive relocation assistance where appropriate. This also includes generous support for family members, backed up by an exceptional standard of schooling.
