Associate Director or Director – lead role in a brilliant agency working with the world’s most transformative brands and trailblazing founders

I have a fascinating opportunity for someone keen to take a lead role in an agency that genuinely does things a little differently.

My client is a boutique comms consultancy for the world’s most transformative brands and trailblazing founders. It is looking to bring in someone at either Associate Director or Director level.

I believe this is one of those roles which will be as much about the person as it will your experience. It will suit someone fearless and ambitious, who loves to work with clients inhabiting a ‘high achiever’ ecosystem. Someone who is excited by, and understands what it means to be, working directly with founders, entrepreneurs and CEOs, who pursue bold, unconventional ideas that are catalysts for change.

The focus of this role is working with scaling tech businesses that are generally either already in a sexy space, or in a world where they could soon be. They might be consumer facing as businesses, but the role requires someone with a corporate and tech mindset, capable of telling the company’s story and how it is changing the world. Put another way – the things that ‘tech’ cares about.

This will include being the lead on the agency’s flagship account, a brilliant international media and tech portfolio. It’s a perfect example of the skillset the team is looking for – that ability to understand the pace of activity required when working into CEOs, entrepreneurs and founders. It’s direct, it’s rapid turnaround, and it often needs a ‘respond in the moment’ type person, rather than someone who if more comfortable working to a formula.

The agency’s founder is extremely well networked and there is no shortage of new business coming through the door. It means the agency can keep a deliberately low profile, focusing instead on letting the clients be the heroes. It’s also a well structured agency that is growing rapidly, with a clear vision of where it’s heading, and what it needs to achieve that.

The office is based in central London, and the team works 3 days in, 2 days out. Working practices are flexible – the focus is simply on results.
