As part of an ever-expanding remit with one of the largest companies in the world, based in the Middle East, I am keen to speak to native English speakers whose experience focuses on the art of speechwriting.

The Speechwriter role sits in the company’s Executive Writers Group, part of the wider Media & Executive Communications Department. It is responsible for writing speeches, talking points, and video scripts, covering a wide variety of subjects, for the Chairman and CEO, as well as other members of corporate and executive management. 

Given the size of the company it is looking for people with experience writing speeches at the highest levels. If some of that is in a government or NGO capacity even better. In addition knowledge and understanding of the energy industry is highly desirable. 

On a broader level the role will suit someone able to diplomatically engage, counsel, and influence senior executives. Ideally with a strong understanding of areas such as international relations, business, academia and technology.
