Internal Comms Manager – FTSE 250 company. Meaty issues across immigration and justice
My client, an innovative FTSE 250 professional services company, is looking for a talented Internal Comms Manager.
The company is proud to work with some of the world’s most cherished brands, helping them create high-performing places where people and communities can thrive. From airports to high-street retailers, from hospitals to schools, it’s the team behind the scenes making sure every environment performs at its best.
As such it’s not a stretch to say there are few internal comms roles that offer the scale, variety, and purpose you’ll find here. You’ll help shape the voice of a business that touches the lives of over 7.5 million people every day – making places safer, cleaner, more secure, and more sustainable.
This specific role will focus mainly on its immigration and justice offering. It’s a project that simultaneously opens the door to fascinating engagement opportunities on a human interest level, whilst requiring a temperament to handle some hard-hitting, sensitive issues.
The team is looking for someone who shares its passion for innovation and transformation in internal comms. You’ll be part of an in-house communications centre of excellence, given plenty of headroom to shape strategic narratives to support transformation, engagement, and culture.
Experience driving meaty internal comms initiatives in a large scale / complex organisation will be welcomed. People who possess a natural resilience, and associated comms experience, that is well suited to handling tricky issues. Naturally, if someone has previous internal comms experience in the justice sector that would be a bonus.
Beyond this the attribute this team always looks for in new hires is a positive attitude. This is an opportunity to use comms in order to make a genuine difference to people working on front line, touching on fascinating societal values.
